 Transferring images..
« Thread Started on Apr 28, 2008, 3:39pm »

Dear techofreaks,

Can you help.

As you have seen, I have managed to set up my picasa account and web album and can cut and paste the address to show others the photos. However, there are a few bits I can't fathom out.

1. If I want to tranfer a single image I right click, then cut and paste the URL. However if I enlarge the image from a thumbnail the URL changes at the end to show it is bigger and the image doesn't transfer.

2. If I try to transfer an image from my albums and not a web album, I get a different properties menu without a URL to cut and paste.

Any help please?? but imagine you are instructing a seven year old as I get lost with techno stuff!

Ta.

Lindsay

A seven year old would almost certainly be able to give you the answer, its the 70 year olds who have the problems with techno stuff ;D

Or even the 50 year olds. I have to get my sons to help me with the techy stuff these days. Excel spreadsheets - no problem but anything that needs hyperlinks etc - count me out!

Lindsay - I get the same problems with Picasa!

1) When you are in 'My Albums' I think these are your 'private' one's that only you (or anyone else you've given a password to) can see so you won't be able to cut and paste the URL. You will need to check the properties of the album to make sure it is listed as public????

2) When you enlarge an image and then right click, just make sure when you cut and paste the URL that you miss off the bit at the end after the .jpg!

Sounds easy doesn't it!
