Lindsay, you link is not working for me. In fact it does not look like a hyperlink.

I like to paint people enjoying the outdoors in and around the English Countryside. Mainly the Lakes and the Dales. More recently the urban scene is included. I would like to think that if AW was alive today, if he didn't appreciate my talent, he would at least get my humour.

The fleeting hour of life of those who love the hills is quickly spent, but the hills are eternal, always there will be the lonely ridge, the dancing beck, the silent forest, the exhilaration of the summits. These are for the seeking and those who seek and find while there is still time will be blessed both in mind & body. AW- Book 7 The Western Fells.

Actually, it wasn't exactly new as we reckon we found a few remain stones from original cairn still on the wall. So we think we used stones lying below wall that originally came from the cairn. Pretty confident of that otherwise we would not have bothered. :)

Thanks for the comments!!

The smaller waist has given me an excuse to do some shopping and smaller trousers at at the top of the list ;D ;D

It would be nice if the cairn remained as there has been a cairn there for many a day, but I'm sure it will end up at the bottom of the wall with the old one :(

Lindsay :)
