The problem appears to be the ?v=0 bit at the end of the hypertext link.

If you just insert just

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3431/3262338893_81b2d63c92.jpg

then the image should show, as follows

I have been struggling to open a Flickr account which seems to be a very long winded procedure. There must be an easier way!
with any luck you'll see my image of High Stile Summit.

Looks like you've cracked it, as your summit photo works fine on the 'Summit Photo pics' Thread. If you do have problems still, I'm sure there will be people willing and able to help (I'm a picasa user, not of Flickr, so not best placed to offer help).

Best of luck - these things are great when they work, but a pain otherwise.
