I like to paint people enjoying the outdoors in and around the English Countryside. Mainly the Lakes and the Dales. More recently the urban scene is included. I would like to think that if AW was alive today, if he didn't appreciate my talent, he would at least get my humour.

The fleeting hour of life of those who love the hills is quickly spent, but the hills are eternal, always there will be the lonely ridge, the dancing beck, the silent forest, the exhilaration of the summits. These are for the seeking and those who seek and find while there is still time will be blessed both in mind & body. AW- Book 7 The Western Fells.

Hi,

some excellent photos on what looked like an amazing day with perfect weather.

We did this in very similar conditions a few years back and the scree really is an ankle cruncher. Took me a while to recover from that one!

One of my favourites - good to have a dry day for the scree path. Nice set of photos too.
