Hi all

This was one of the best things i have ever done with the society and for a few personal reasons to different people up there we all shared something very special and unique in our own ways

Thanks to all and Merv for being tough as old boots ;)

cheers

Look me up on www.artbyraybradshaw.com
I like to paint people enjoying the outdoors in and around the English Countryside. Mainly the Lakes and the Dales. More recently the urban scene is included. I would like to think that if AW was alive today, if he didn't appreciate my talent, he would at least get my humour.

Good on you Rob getting those photos up so soon considering your lack of sleep.

Yes it was a very special occasion in lots of ways and excellent to see Merv progressing well with his recovery :)

Well Done all who attend.

Good photos despite the lack of light.

Great photos, Rob!

John tells me that the total raised should reach £250!

Well done everyone who took part.

And a special thank you to Lindsay who organised the event.

Rob,

Good pictures and I am about to post mine which are pretty poor compared to yours. My little camera doesn't seem to like the dark.

Anyhow thanks for bringing Merv to this important event and I know everyone was really pleased to see him. Lets hope it isn't too long before he can accompany us on another walk.

Frank.

A cracking walk at a very strange time of day to be out on the fells! It was good to catch up with some 'old' walking friends and to have met some new ones. Big thanks to Lindsay for organising it all and an emotional time was had by all for many different reasons, least of all the reason we were up there in the first place, but i must say that although it was the first time i had met Merv I must admit to being in awe of the bloke.

Totally loved being up there for Heather and as others have said, a few other reasons as well.

A walk I wont forget ever........Merv....what can I say......just bl**dy brilliant to see you up there lad!!!
Sooo lovely to see your daughter with you..shes lovely! good on your 'bruv' for looking after you ..you got a cracker of a mate there Merv....keep strong lad!

Must have been an emotional time for Heather Coopers family. Was proud to be up there for her as we all were. :)
