Yet more books to give away!
« Thread Started on Jan 31, 2012, 12:02pm »

I did think, prior to our recent house move, that I had culled my book collection to the full ::). However, having moved in and slowly working throgh boxes, I have decided that lots more books need to go. There'll be loads going to the charity shop, but here are some 'outdoor' items I thought some of you might be interested in. Usual first-come-first-served, and I'll work out how to get them to you (I can bring them to the AGM). Don't be shy - they're all going one way or another!

David

:) here goes:-

Boundless Horizons - The autobiography of Chris Bonington (1988 - hardback).

Frank,

I'll bring them to the AGM for you. I should have said that the Coast book is a bit old and not in mint condition. Thanks for taking these off my hands!

It's yours. Where do you live (PM me if you'd prefer), then there might be a way round having to incur postage (it's a weighty book).

Make sure you sign up, as promised! ;)

Opened yet another a box (having moved) and found:-

Any takers?

Just a reminder, in case anyone's interested in these items, as these will otherwise be off to the charity shop very soon.

Thanks to those who have responded so far.

Hi Jamie,

Afraid not. They went to another member. I later discovered they are collectible and worth a bit of money ::), but at least I've now de-cluttered (I do, for some reason, still have Mountain - Exploring Britain's High Places, Griff Rhys Jones (hardback) to dispose of.

I kept just one of the MRT guides, one which includes a report on a call to Great Gable to recover the body of my best friend who died there from a heart attack. I won't part with that copy, as you'll understand.

Probably a bit late now and I'm not sure why it didn't go off to the charity shop with the rest. :)
