Yeehaa! Mind you, while you can still blow your mind for free on Cam Crag and a thousand other excellent routes in the Lakes, I'll have better things to spend my £40 on.. But the main thing is it gets people started.

It is indeed good news that agreement between Honister and Natural England as been reached and that the extended Via Ferrata as been passed.
It just seems a great pity that Honister could not have consulted with Natural England in the first instance and saved themselves the bad publicity and the £28,000 it cost them.
Hopefully things will be calmer now.
